65...65...really? our low is higher than your high. we're to the point now that 102 doesn't feel too bad with a little breeze or shade. well at least with your pics we can imagine what rain and cool weather are like.
What really sucks is that there's no cold water to be found. Hot water comes out of the cold faucet and you only get 1 second of cold water when you turn on the hot faucet - before the hot water scalds you!!! Thankfully our humidity has been unusually low...guess that's not hard when everything is desert dry. You know your are in Texas when you say it's "only" going be be 103 today.

ReplyDeleteI remember those days, D. When it's that hot and with the high humidity, when you walk outside it's like someone hit you with a hot mattress.

ReplyDeleteI can't imagine hot water from the cold faucet. But now you can say your hot water heater is really a hot water heater.
ReplyDelete"a hot mattress" love it, that's just how I remember Iowa summers only I think I phrased it less delicately. Love the pictures too.
ReplyDeleteI would love to have heard how you phrased it, Jotsalot.
